Are VE and VG MAF's different?
Subject says all.
I just had MAF go bad on my 2001 PF, and I am worried and want to look for one for my beloved Max... Just wanted to know if one from a VE will work on a VG. |
I bel they are the same. I have a spare maf for sale btw.
|
for third gens, they are the same.
For your pathy, maybe. Check the numbers :) |
i got one for sale also.
|
fine then, I got one forsale also
but only after Jeffy sells his :o size=10 :squint: |
...emotions running high.
|
Are they the same?? I thought Aaron said they were not... ???
Then again that could have been the VE vs the Z32... i forget. Brian |

I sell new and reman ones. so if he wants used he can start with the first one in line.
If he wants a new or reman with warranty he can buy from me. |
well after everyone sells theirs. I got one for sale too.
|
Well, I have a spare one and it's not for sale...:wall:
You had better make sure you get the right one. Your 2001 Pathy should be a 3.5 VQ, which probably has a different MAF. |
Wow, I didn't know so many people had so many extra MAF's...
Anyway, why and how does one fail? I mean, can it be repaired? What is the component that fails? Is it electrical or mechanical? |
theres nothing mechanical in the maf to fail so yes its electrical but i have no idea what fails and really dont care since i can go to the junk yard and get one from any one of the 10 or 15 3rd gens that are there
