If it was my parent's I wouldn't have posted it on the forum, and I would have specifically said so.

I still have my 68 Mustang

He chewed up his dizzy gear, pulled the cam, fuel pump lobe was 3/8" worn. 2 cam lobes on the front middle cylinders (not sure what one, never torn apart a SBC) were scored and about 1/8" worn and he is using roller hydraulic lifters. Engine's back in the car. We have the same ignition systems aswell Replaced with the same grind, hardened steel this time (old one was iron).

He said he came over a few times while I was at the dealer to get some help but I wasn't home .

The gauges in the QX4 look like my Dad's old 5th gen gauges, pretty sweet

I dont drive very far. Plus in the past month I've only driven my car maybe 15 miles, the rest of the time I've been driving my families 91 Jimmy (it gets about 15-16mpg). It's really funny, thats a 4.3l where this is a 3.5l and this has so much more power than it

I've driven my maxima a whole 15 miles in the last month. I've been driving my families 91 Jimmy instead which gets about 15-16mpg and thats being really light footed. I'll find out what I can muster out of it starting in a few hours. Road trip :-D

Quite an upgrade from the Jimmy. It's funny because the Jimmy has a 4.3l but makes shiet for power compared to the VQ.

Bah, it has more than enough power really. You really have to watch out when your in the Jimmy because it really does not have the power (or anything else) to keep you out of trouble. I <3 Jeeps. My Dad's 98 Durango has been awesome to us, never have and any problems so I know trust it is a good rig, but the QX4 was more appealing (and cheaper ;-))

I was going to get a TJ but didn't because then I would spend money on the suspension and crap. It would just start the modding cycle all over again

There is nothing left I can buy for the maxima (except subframes but meh). You should see that car in person, quite nice. I touched it yesterday

LMAO! Nothing like magnanimous smilies to cause uncontrollable fits of laughter. Well... besides having the satisfaction of knowing you're making monthly payments on an analog clock stuck in your dash. Hey. If you're interested, I'll stick the one hanging on my kitchen wall in the dash of some behemoth car and you can pay me monthly. How about that?
