New Application for E36's!
This isn't about Maxima's, per se, but a few folks have done headlight conversions on their maximas so I had to share:
This is the automotive equivalent of "polishing a turd" Yesterday I was travelling on I-495 in Massachusetts and I was passed by an early-90's Buick Roadmaster Station Wagon with an E36 headlight conversion! I was in disbelief so I caught it and double-checked. Yep, complete with halos. Unfortunately, I didn't have the digital camera with me so no pics! Use your imagination. Try not to flinch. Sporty Wal*Mart "spinner" wheelcovers and coffee-can muffler to follow. |
haha you said turd!
ive heard the jetta community or someone else retrofits them aswell. |
seen them on Jettas and Corrados before too

I'm sure all those guys are laughing at us for putting BMW headlights on a 4door Japanese sedan :)
|
Yeah a friend of mine is buying a corrado and he is going to sport the E36's
|
Personally, I think the E36's look 10x's better than the bland stock lights. If they should happen to fit on a dozen other cars, so be it. I look at my car from the front so differently, it looks somehow more agressive, yet classier at the same time. Oh hell.... Me likee me likee!!!!!

Seen them on crx's

Are the E36's brighter than the stock headlights? I like the light my stockers give off, but I'm always looking for more light.
Comments? |
STOCK IS CRAP in comparison. Also depends on your bulbs. Alot of ppl use brightwhites which are great, mine burned out so I use some no name 100watts. But I have the ebay halo ones that use h7's for low.

I like crx's when done right.
