I've got a 94 SE 5spd. What are my stock 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Some sites that offer these times only give the 94 in automatic, and are useless.

well, my friend has a 94 SE 5spd and his stock run was 15.6. that equates to about a 7.2-7.4 0-60mph.

Another friend has a 92 SE 5spd., essentially the same car, and he pulled a 15.5, completely stock, which equates to about a 7.0-7.2 0-60

Hope that helps.

I had a 15.7 Stock

that was with me losing .2-.3 because of a very worn clutch. Stock times can range from 15.2-15.8, it all depends on the little factory differences and of course driver skill.

i run 15.4's all day long

I am dirksmoothe's buddy that ran 15.5 stock. Honestly there is more there if you can get it to hook up w/o traction loss. If I could have 20 runs in a row with a stock maxima, I betcha I could get at least 3 15.4 and 1 15.3. So driver skill & familiarity with the track conditions will help you get those 2.2 60' times. If you can get the 2.2 60' with a VE 5sp. you got an easy 15.3.

Jonny, did you get any pics of your max with the Cobra wheels yet? I'm really interested in seeing some, my friend has a set of chrome ones off a Mustang in his room taking up space, I want to know how they'd look on a 3rd gen Max :)

JonnyMax May 26, 2001 08:46 AM

Well they arent on yet...

The 4th one just got here yesterday. (UPS sucks)

I will defenetly be posting pics in the General forum and on the 3rd gen bbs as soon as I get them on next weekend.

Thanks. Whereas my 94 SE weighs about 3165, the 92SE weighs less than 3k. This accounts for the difference and makes the 92 SE a special maxima. It's just as fast as any stock 4rth gen Max.

JonnyMax May 26, 2001 01:52 PM

Actually...

the 92 is veirtually identical in weight to all the other 92-94SE's Even Stripped Czars 92se was at least 3050 lbs, that was with all seats but druiver removed, subs/amp removed, floor mats removed....and no driver, just the car. Full interior was something like 3300 with the subs/amp.

to back up this statement, I have beat AirMattDogg, in his 97SE auto, in my 92SE auto, over and over again.

Hell, with just my pop charger, according to motortrend, I am already faster than a 2000 GXE auto! and those have 222hp!

according to motortrends test of the car, Nissan Maxima 2000 GXE will run a 16.2 @85.9. Pretty good, but I have now hit 16.1!!!! woo hoo!!! alright, I am done now.
