Check out my 200$ maxima se

here is a picture of my 1992 maxima SE (i just bought it on sunday)

its a salvage title (recovered theft)
VTCs tick like a machine gun
Needs balljoints
6 coilpacks
Passenger side CV AXLE
Front and Rear Pads

it has 139k auto tranny

doesnt look bad for $200, mine was an impound and i got it for $1,000, it had no insurance

small amounts of bubbling rust the size of quarter.....she wanted 500....i really didnt want the car but i said 200.....and drove it home (but it must have stalled 3 times on the way).

I pulled the code from the ecu and got cylinder misfire cyinder #3 and that coil pack glows when I start the car at night.

not sure how far i wanna go with the reconditioning....but thanks guys...

i have a 96 SE and now back in the 3rd gen forums looking for parts.....ahh memories!!

looks like you got a better shell than I did.
but I also didn't have bad VTCs
I did have 3 bad injectors, 1 bad window regulator, 2 bad lower control arm bushings, 1 bad knock sensor (still is), miscellanous leaks, worn tires.
of course my A/C did work and the alternator was newish (autozone junk)
