Some Jack'off tagged my car

So I was leaving work while ago and found that the fender lip above my left front tire is dented. I'm not sure when it happened but it has to be recent because I definately would have noticed it. None of the cars near mine were high enough so I think it was a truck or SUV. It was parked there since 5am so there is no telling wo came and went. There is some black marks too. It's amazing that somebody is that big of a chicken schizz to do that and just leave it. :ghost: I haven't had the car going that long and have picked up 2 rock chips on my windshield and now this. :madmofo: I would do a pic but we've lost our digital camera.

Thats pretty ****ty. Sorry dude. People around here step in your muffler if you have one of those huge 4" coffee can exhausts. On a lighter note I saw a civic today with a sticker that said "Got Rice?"

T93Max Feb 1, 2006 12:19 PM

you should call CSI. they could collect the black mark fragment for examination. if its paint then they could tell you what kind of car it was that hit your car. that'll give you a head start on what kind of car to look for at work. haha... just an idea.

man that sucks, i thought when you said it got tagged you ment somebody put their sign on it or something. yeah it was probably a door i have the same thing on 2 of my fender flares but they are really small.

That would be enough to make me pull the ole' Justice Stick out of the trunk and start looking for the a$$hole who did it! Time to start cracking skulls and busting kneecaps! Sorry, I started drinking early today (I have a valid excuse).:king: :shiner: :drool1:

I was thinking graffiti. Sucks cant have nuttin.

Hectic Feb 1, 2006 02:12 PM

shiiit my dumb *** backed out of a parking lot and clipped the very edge of an accord bumper today, very minor damage to both cars. i went to the shop and asked if anyone had an accord outside. turns out, it's dudes aunt's car. i didn't give my insurance info hoping she'll be chill about it. seriously, a little touch up paint and a buff and it would be virtually undetectable. we'll see what she has in mind.

internetautomar Feb 1, 2006 02:13 PM

you guys seem surprised by this.
it sucks but that's part of owning a car IMHO.
when I drive a car I don't want damaged, I park as far away as I can from anything.

goon9 Feb 1, 2006 02:40 PM

I always try to park to another nice maxi, saftey in numbers.

great idea, but it dosent always work. alot of other people out there dont care about other peoples cars. that sucks. I hate people

94maxima86 Feb 1, 2006 03:38 PM

last week i came out of my class from nassau community college only to find a dent in my back left quarter panel. how could people just not care about someone else`s property?

souled Feb 1, 2006 04:12 PM

A few months back, I was sitting in my Max in a mall parking lot, and some guy is putting something in his car and dings my door! He didn't even care until he turned around and saw me staring at him. At that time his eyes widened. What an ***. I should have said something to him...

I'm not surprised at all, actually. We have limited parking at work so I don't have much choice. This was more than a door or shopping cart ding. The height of the rub and all makes me think it was a full size truck or SUV bumper probably driven by someone that could not see over the steering wheel. I guess not everyone have been raised with enough honor to do the right thing in a situation like this. My car isn't a show car and I hope to get it painted at some point but this is that much more expense I have now to repair the fender. If the person that did it would have had the courtesy to tell me, I probably would't have made a big deal about it. If this was my ugly truck, I wouldn't even care. We have found similar things on the 99 also and it is a very nice car.

when it comes to most people(especially some in the SUV crowd) if there is no damage on their car, they don't care

Alex_V Feb 2, 2006 11:22 AM

at least its just the fender. My friend spun the max around (he was trying to drift in an unfamiliar car) and hit a poll on the drivers side. the corner light was destroyed, the fender beyond repair, and Im sure Ill have to fix some fender mounts. Im just glad it didnt hit the wheel. Also dented the hood a little. Id be estatic if it was just a dent in the middle of the fender like Grace Imports. I would have bondo'd it up and had it painted by now.

Im looking for a fender, Id use my parts car fender but its dented from running over its own tire. (fell off doing 60mph) Yea see my luck kidna sucks ars...

That really sucks I have a 91 Maxima GXE and some di*k punk kid clipped the rear passenger side of it, hit a run but the kid across the street just happend to go to school with the dude that hit it and told me about it. Two days later the guy shows up at my door and doesn't have insurance so I am out $700 bucks fixed it myself body work and all. This guy way driving a 1968 ford fairlane I could not belive the damage to that big boat his bumper was bent, grill gone headlights busted and front fender ripped off :lolrun:

Two weeks later he got broad sided by a 1971 Caddy totaled his POS car, LMAO what comes round goes round.

The damage is minimal but I didn't cause it by jacking around. If that was the case then I would be mad at myself.

Preach456 Feb 2, 2006 04:29 PM

and then people wonder why people with nice cars park in the back of a parking lot isolated

Alex_V Feb 2, 2006 06:08 PM

I know its kinda deserved but I did that for 20minuets, and have done alot of stuff in my car and havent had much of a problem. Then he gets in it and smashes it. Im mad at both of us...but I under stand what you mean. Id be FAR more pissed if some dik just scratched up my car. at one of my friends theres alot of people hanging around there that dont give a **** about any ones property. My hood and trunk and hood have been climbed and jumped on (and have scratched the **** out of them). Im seriouly about bring my paintball gun next time. They've pissed me off for the last time..
