non-abs brake pedal pulse(s) @ low speed

thought difficult to recreate 100% of the time, it seems that when braking from a low speed coast (say 10mph), there will be a solid pulse in the brake pedal just before coming to a complete stop - sometimes there'll be 2 or 3 pulses but the number of pulses seems very hit-or-miss. the pulse almost sounds/feels like something is hung up and then letting go - almost like a muffled clunk or series of muffled clunks like a studdering as something is sliding along.....

the m/c, calipers and lines show no signs of leaking nor has the level in the brake fluid resevoir changed.

when the vehicle is under acceleration or if i am braking from over 20 mph or otherwise stopping suddenly, the brakes work perfectly. this concern only seems to occur while riding the brakes from very slow speeds.

there isn't much mention of brake pulse problems in the search that are not abs related so i'm kinda at a loss. i'm "assuming" it isn't abs related because there's no abs light function with this concern.

the only brake related service that has been done recently was the use of the brake booster tube for some sea foam but that was maybe 3 weeks before this symptom started......thoughts?

Wheel bearing condition - play?
Front rotor condition - worn/too thin?
Caliper mountings - worn/loose?

I wouldn't be surprised if your rotors were slightly warped.
I'd try to lube the caliper bushings first though.

I have pedal pulse sometimes. I have abs,
and just put Brembo rotors on my car. It
seems to happen only when its cold and at low speeds.
Anyone know what that might be?

take your rotors to a shop and see if they are warped...... they might have gotten a little overheated and warped a smidgen
