It's going good Jeff... I've been doing alot of work to my maxima and my 240(soon to have a vq35). How's your G been treating you?

I was supposed to meet up with NmexMax for one of his dyno sessions, but for some reason he couldn't make it.

BTW, Jeff my maxima is getting a new engine from SouthStar019.
http://forums.maxima.org/showpost.ph...11&postcount=1

I actually paid for it today and it's being shipped out tomorrow.

My engine runs alright, but it makes weird noises and has slightly low compression. I think the JWT ecu caused my engine problems. Horrible pre-detonation is really bad for a motor... Now I have a factory ecu and I'm getting a romulator.

I'm a car salesman for a Mazda dealership here in NM and everytime I get a chance, I drive one of our pre-owened G35's lol

IIRC, I have those stickers on both sides.

I haven't actually checked in a while, though.

I can redraw an identical graphic in Illustrator or Photoshop, from there its just a matter of ordering them from some place that supplies custom stickers.

Someone did already, I was reading a thread about them like a year ago, and I was thinking about buying a pair. I think they were like $10 shipped. I decided against buying them for the same reason I was able to let go of them when I was getting my car tinted, and that's that the windows are tinted, and it just wouldn't be the same. I do miss them though.

I don't have any button I did see them on a car at the wreckers today. So I snapped a few pics with my phone thinking of this thread: All the maxima's that had dohc motors had their engines removed. I found just one maxima that had the temp sending unit that I needed but it's crusty, hope it works.

Yeah they actually did. Story goes as follows.. Back in the late 80's BMW were on top of the world with their sports sedan aka 3-series, and Nissan decided to compete with them in that class. After finding this out at a press conferance, and realizing that they finally had worthy competition, BMW made a joke about the 3rd gen coming out, something along the lines of "Nissan and their four door sports car, meh".. When Nissan heard this, as a mockery they decided to put a sticker like that on every 3rd gen that came out of the factory.

Read that in an old Motor Trend..
