Out of the 3 cars in my family(96 Grand Cherokee Orvis, 2k Honda Accord coupe, and the Max) that the Maxima has the cleanest sound coming out of the speakers. It's even better than the Infinity Gold system in the Jeep(which is pretty damn good). Its not bassy, just comes out nice.. Am I crazy?

yah u guys gotta point i chilled with maximaracer28 and even though his car is like 9 years old and the old owner like took it to the max with the stock speakers there still sounding nice and clear...

I'll admit, the Bose factory system DOES sound pretty sweet, when compared with other factory systems. However, with me having worked in the autosound industry for 11 years, I always yearn for consistently BETTER sounding systems, which is why I'm upgrading constantly. I'm putting in Boston ProSeries 5.1's today, as a matter of fact!!

.....and that is why I am planning an upgrade to my sound system. I already have an Eclipse head unit and am working on the rest of the system (JL Audio, Focal).

Right now, my Eclipse with the stock amp is giving the Alpine system in my parents' Navigator a severe run for its money. It's hella nice when I bump the house music. :D

out of the 6 cars in my family, (01 bmw 325 cic, 95 mitsubishi montero, 99 mitsubishi galant, 90 camry, 87 camry, and my car) i definitly have the best sound system. but thats cause im the only one with aftermarket :) the bmw is probably second but its not all that great, it doesnt have the upgraded harmen kardon crap, but oh welli heard it doesnt improve it much anyways. the galant sucks ***, has like 4 crapy speakers. monetero is alright. you can guess the rest... :)

87 Mercury Sable, 99 Toyota Corolla, and my 93 Maxima, my system sounds the best.... (no duh... 1 is a freakin Ford and the other is an econo-box POS)

I gotta say the BOSE is a lot better stock system then I heard in a LOT of cars.. My boss has a 2k 500 Benz with a 6 or 8 speaker BOSE, that **** is niceeeeee....... They throw BOSE into a lot of luxury cars for a reason ;) Out of ordinary cars, the stereo in my max is a lot better then a lot of the ones I heard, works very good with a portable CD player adapter too..
Too bad one of my rear speakers rattles and makes static noise every now and then. Also the headunit likes to chew tapes every now and then

Well the radio is really nice thats a fact but you guys all know that the reason we love the radio so much is the pure simple fact because its a MAXIMA!!!!!!!!!!

man, you guys are lucky that your bose system is still good. the reason why i say mine sucked so much is because when i first bought the car the speakers were already blown. i don't know how either seeing how the previous owner was en elderly gentleman. money has been tight lately so i think i will use that 300 dollar tax return to help upgrade my system.

I AGREE!!!!!! The Bose sytem in my 3rd generation is better than the one in my 4th generation. And is also better than some luxury cars I have been in. Nissan did great when they put this set up in the Maximas. That was a big plus for me when I bought my third generation Maxima.
