Koni Special (Red) are the only Koni's that are made for the 3rd Gen. They do have adjustment but require removal from the car each time to change the setting.
The Sports (Yellow, external adjustment) are not available. If you see them advertised for J30's, you can bet its a typo.

just to clarify he means the j30 maxima - 3rd gen.
the infinity j30 is based off of the z32 2+2 chassis and may have the shock available..

Koni reds: fronts are adjustable w/o taking the strut out.
rears must be removed to adjust.
