I came home last night.. and this morning, when I went to
start my max, it didn't turn over. Everything else in the car works (lights, radio, fan etc.). I tried swapping the battery with my other maxima, and it still didn't turn over. I checked the wires that I had to tap into for my alarm and the only one I tapped was the ignition, but not the starter wires. Could anyone give me some ideas on what it could be, or what I could check?

I'm no mechanic, but I can tell you what it was when that happened in my volvo: Once when that happened it was my starter, another time it was a transmission safety switch problem (the switch which will only let you turn the car on in Park or Neutral) and another time it was a fuel injection problem (my car would try to start but couldn't "catch") So you might wanna try all 3 of those routes?

This has happened to me, all I had to do was give it a little push into the park gear & it turned over. Actually this has happend to me a few times. Has something to do w/ the linkage.

Get back to me & let me know if that was it or not.
