Do any of you guys know anything about the chips that are advertised to improve your MPG? I've seen a few on ebay for the 3rd gen but they seem cheap and sound like BS.
Also advertised to boost HP.

Here's a link for one of them

With my ve-5 i usually get 26 mpg city/30mpg hwy in the summer. In the winter, mpg goes down to 24 mpg city/26mpg hwy. Soft snow tires + cold weather + crappy winter gas= worse mpg.

I usually get around 21 city and almost get 27mpg on the highway. Not half bad for an 18 year old car lol! Although before I replaced the old and rusted out Y-pipe that was leaking worse than the Flying Dutchman I used to get like 14-15mpg in the city but none the less...VE power all the way

Your mpg reading will be waaaaaaay off if you only fill up 2.3 gallons and use this tiny fill up as your average. To get an average mpg, one has to run the tank at least half way down.

I'm getting around 15 city, 26 highway, right now. Not the best, but i have some rich exhaust fumes as well as the car burning through oil like no ones business. Needless to say, i've got some work to do.

This is insane! I have a 2000 SE Auto and I'm getting 260 MPG max on a full tank. What types of things effect mpg? I also have a P0420 code. Could this be the reason why my mpg sucks?

Historically avg 23 with high 20s on long trips on flat roads. However, currently its at 16 due to a bad injector (fixing this weekend). I've found keeping an eye on your MPG works like a second check engine light.
