She's back to life Thanks to the org & brakes question
Hello fellow members!
I just want to share my joy with you after all your help of fixing my baby, I can't thank you enough, really, all of you that post and read my old threads helping me to figure it out, to all of you Thanks a bunch!! Well, Thanks to the long weekend I was able to put some time on her to clean, wash and wax her, and I know I still need to work on a few things like my chipped corner and my faded rear bumper but I'm glad to drive her again and she is behaving beautifully great, and here she is: http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...Maxima2203.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...axima22041.jpg http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...axima22051.jpg I really need to get rid of those ugly stock wheels. BTW, I'm planning some mods I have left pending since the beggining of the year because all the hassle I've been through but well all this involves many questions. First, I was thinking today to stop by a shop and get the "free brake inspection" but I thought I will ask first here because I don't think it's hard to check if I do need pads or not, I checked my brake fluid and it's a little bit low, well I should say between min-max it's at 75% and someone once told me if my flake fluid is low don't fill it up, if it's getting low is a sign that you'll need new pads soon, is this true? how do I really check if I need to service my brakes? Thanks! |

I happen to think that stock wheels are not ugly if they're MINT like new with the 91+ gloss. mmm original

Thanks caped, I'll take a look!
about the wheels I mean mine are ugly because they are dirty as hell and can't get them shiny and some part looks peeled, if they were mint/like new as you said they are ok I guess, not the best look but not ugly. I'm sooo picky with wheels that I been doing some research on forums and craigslist but 95% of them are just another kind of taste and the other 5% are overpriced or just over my budget. Somehow I like the 17" 5 spoke Altima OEM wheels, maybe I'll get those if I can get a good deal, if not I'll be around to ask for opinions before I'll make a purchase, Thanks for the input. |
^^ who does'nt like 17" altima wheels.

Mine are 18.5mm thick and they overheat way too easily because it's kinda like frying with a razor-thin frying pan. |
