Wheels fitment question, using spacers?
Okay I have a 92 SE and I have taken my stock wheels and tires off and I now have a set of 2000 I30 16x6.5"s with a +40 offset (I have been told that these wheels have a +45 offset but they are clearly stamped 40 on the inside of the wheel, so beware of misinformation on this) on the car. I am still at stock ride height but that will change soon. I have ST lowering springs that I will be installing and I want the wheels to sit out further. So my question to the wheels experts here is how big of a spacer can I run in the front and the rear, I want them to as close to flush as possible. I was thinking 10mm in the front and 15mm in the rear. What do you guys think? if I did this is would put me with a 16x6.5" wheels with effective offsets of +30 in the front and +25 in the rear. I don't want to rub the fenders and I can have them rolled if that is a huge issue. Right now the tires on the car are 215/55/16's. When I replace them I will either stick with this size or bump up to a 225. Thanks for any advice. Even if you do not have any advice but have different than stock wheels and can post a picture along with measurements I would appreciate it. Thanks.

you can play with the spacing by stacking washers behind the wheel until you find the spacing you want. once you find the spacing measure the combined thickness of the washers and get a spacer that thick. make sure you bounce the car and turn the wheels to check for all possible clearance issues.
THIS IS TO BE DONE WITH THE CAR PARKED. DO NOT DRIVE WITH WASHERS ACTING AS SPACERS FOR YOUR WHEELS!!!
