Will these E36's work on a 3rd gen??

Looks like the bracket for mounting has the bolt holes in a different place, but maybe I haven't looked good enough. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
all e36 lights are gonna have the same fitment as far as i know. that means that regardless what flavor e36 light you pick, you have to figure out how to mount them yourself, from what i've heard. once upon a time someone made brackets for it but i think they stopped making them a while ago.

Actually the Depo (projector) lights are a little harder to fit than the standard E36's. The standard E36's can be fabbed up by mounting the lights to the stock brackets (albeit chopping it and modifying it), whereas the projector E36's actually require you to cut into the radiator support because they're so much deeper.
