Sounds like my spring is clinking around, bad strut mount?
It sounds like my spring is clunking around when I'm coming to a stop. Almost like it's not seating correct on the strut. I did the bouncing test on my struts and they all stop after 1 or 2 bounces. Could my strut mount be completely shot? If so any way of telling without taking the whole strut out? Could my strut be broken even if it passes the bounce test? What are the symptoms of a bad mount? Please help I hate driving her around like this

I think you can just watch the mount as you bounce the car. I don't think it's supposed to give much if at all. Also check for rust. Front or rear?

Front passenger side

If you find out it is your strut mounts, dont get them from autozone! I did that once and the screws kept falling out, and would not seat, So I returned it, and it turned out my mounts were still good.
