car died, replaced fuel filter, won't start

checked fuel pump and gas flow by cranking with it unattached from line. Replaced filter. Have cranked many times to re-create pressure.

Verify that the rotor bug is turning when your cranking it over. If it just died and wont start you may have broke a timing belt. Remove the dist cap and then turn it over, the dizzy should turn.

What made you go right for the fuel issue?

Simply turning the key to the acc position will turn on the fuel pump, you will hear it run for about 3 seconds then stop, repeating this several times will fully pressurize the system.

Also check all of your fuses in the fuse box, there is one in there that is called "eng cont" or something like that, if its blown you will not start.

Hang around long enough and be more specific with your problems/questions and someone that knows more than I should be along to help in no time......

VG or VE? VG you might have snapped the timing belt. gotta have more info, did it die while driving? any noises when it died? still getting lights and everything?

Check fuel pressure with gauge. You might have a faulty pump.
