Needed driver's door Bose speaker
 

The driver's door Bose speaker popps loudly when powered up. It is also blown. I am assuming the amp is causing the pop and the speaker is blown from the stress caused by the popping. Anyway, where can I find a serviceable replacement speaker? Maybe a known good salvage unit? I know people like to replace the whole system. However, I would prefer to keep the Bose and replace only the driver's speaker and amp if possible.

my recommendation....scrap the entire system and go aftermarket....these old bose systems just aren't worth messing with anymore, due to lack of parts...The used stuff is just borrowed time at best...

I believe I have extra door speakers that work...I bought a members whole system when I needed to replace the rear speakers. The rear speakers were shot but the door speakers work and I don't need them cause my original bose door speakers are good.

if you still have it I'd sell you the speaker. just replaced mine with kenwood but I do have the speaker and amp in good condition
