You want the "new style" injectors. So if you're specifically ordering for/from a TTZ, you want 95 or 96 TTZ. However, the non-turbos used the "new style" injectors on 93+

You don't need to be searching for VE specific stuff. Just search for the 95/96 z32 TTZ stuff. Even SR20DET stuff. All the same injectors. Your deciding factor should be the CC though

I'm looking for 300hp and I learned that 370cc was enough. I figure it is 1995-96 , that sucks because I just found 1994 300zx tt injectors with fuel rail for $175.

So I'll start to look for sr20det injectors as well. Thanks for the info.

But 300hp is my goal.

James how's your turbo setup doing?

370cc will be enough for 300hp. The q45 also used 370cc but unsure if there new style or old.

The Q45 switched from Phase I (old) to Phase II (new) with the 94 model year. There may be a few late 93 models with Phase II injectors, but I've not seen any at this point.

Deatschwerks in OKC sells a kit that allows Phase II injectors to be used with Phase I rails. The Phase II injectors are reported to last longer than the Phase I injectors.

I use BWD Black Dot Phase II 370cc injectors in my 91 Q45 with the Deachwerks kit.

You can see the Phase II pintle caps in the rails below.

Q45 rails came nickle plated from the factory. As part of a rail restoration project, I sent the rails to a plating company in Memphis TN that has an electroless plating process that plated the rails on the inside as well as the outside. Nickle plating fuel system components is a technique used in Brazil for cars that run on ethanol.

James how's your turbo setup doing?
Setup is fine but the engine has bad rings and smokes like a ****. I have a brand new rebuilt VE to stick in it just haven't gotten around to it since I've been overhauling my Civic. Finally finished my Civic last weekend and got it out of the garage so I was able to pull the turbo car in so this is where she stands now waiting for the swap and some downpipe modifications

No I don't have a GT35

It's been tuned by Bryce at Alamo Autosports here in DFW but he had never used Nistune before and was fairly critical of Nistune once he started messing with it and had a hard time with it, so I have never been totally 100% confident in the tune

Surprise to hear that. I saw your car once tony, but haven't senna other "fixed-up" ones..surprise to hear you say there is another that's being modded. Except for 2005 max rims, mine is pretty much stock. Went off track a bit......

There are formulas that are used to estimate the amount of fuel needed depending on your redline, boost level, turbo size and engine size...

On my way to check on a 1994 q45 to see if it still has its injectors. If it does, is cost me only $20. Wish me luck.

Is it at a you-pull-it junkyard? If so, shouldn't cost you anything

Here's the underside of the Q45 intake plenum. Note the rubber hoses that will need to be released to access the injector rails.

why actually sit there and do the calculation...it's da innerwebs...they just ask ppl on the fore-am's and get their answers spoon fed to them.

They use the cfm calculator to figure which turbo is best. But that's to much work for me. I planned on getting a gt35r. Ive learned anything bogey then 70ar is good for ve. High end power spool.

so you're getting a GT35R that cost over a thousand dollars new (not the cheap POS chinese made one) and you're not willing to sit down for 10-15 minutes to do some type of calculation to make sure the AR and even if the turbo is correct for you? take a look at a turbo map before you buy it. do you know what type of flange are you going to go with? 4 bolt, v band, 5 bolt with internal WG, divided? how about compressor? with or without anti surge?

not trying to be a naysayer but this is recipe for disaster.

high end spool..but you don't want to be at 5000 RPM when your turbo is starting to come in on boost...right? because then you'll hit redline just when that turbo is starting to spool up.

turbo map explained...

this is a GT35R 70AR..figure out where are you on this map.

Danny pretty much hit the nail on the head

I never did any fancy calculations but my car is .63 A/R and my boost already comes on a tad later than I would like. I want to say I'm close to 4500 RPM full boost in mine. I couldn't imagine not getting full boost till 5k or something.
