hood will not latch shut...removed latch mechanism..can't figure it out
 

well...the hood won't latch...it will clikc down to latch itself from flying up, but, it won't lock shut. i removed teh mechanism to look at it, and it's like i push down on the hood, but the little lever won't move far enough to "latch"...any ideas

Has anything changed in this area or have you done anything? Or did this just happen spontaneously?

I don't know, but maybe there's a way to adjust its alignment via bolts or something? :gotme:

slut. i finished...you know what ****es me off...you didnt tell me the projector goes with the meteal part DOWN...i had it all done, then i turne my lights on, and i have no light on the groudn, it's all up in the air...slut....so, i had to take it all apart and yada yada yada...i gotta tweak the install though, it looks crappy.

HAHAHAHAHAHAH i did that before too.. its opposite so its annoying. thats hilaroius, i think that happened to me when i first put em in.

Check the rubber hood bumpers if you took those off.
