93 se revival - 87'octane use and oil on my plugs

I'm trying to get my 93 maxima se 5 speed 253,000 miles... running again,it ran great then one day ran super rough like one cylinder wasn't working after checking the plugs i found oil pretty thick on one plug "it's sat for a whole year since"didnt have time to fix until now.

Iv'e purchased valve cover gaskets and
new plug wires/plugs i hope this does the trick ..

is there a way to clean the injectors or undo the harm the 87 octane did if any ?:confused ..my ex-girlfriend was cheap and used the wrong fuel

is this car worth fixing ? i hope so

appreciate any tips

87 octane will just cause pinging, nothing to do with harming the injectors. nothing you need to do but use 91+ octane next time, most likely did no damage unless you drove it hard on a warm day

If you have a 93 SE you didn't buy plug wires for your car because your car doesn't have plug wires

I had a VE with oil on the plug, and compression was non existent in the cylinder.

Granted the car had been run without oil, or even an oil filter by the previous owner. The other 5 cylinders were fine, even beat my friend in his 72 Cuntless. And sold it for a $500 profit.

Run compression check, if it passes, replace the injector(s).

2 yrs ago it had better than stock compression the smog guy told me somebody modified the motor probably...wasn't me.

I'm wondering if i should replace anything else other than valve cover gaskets since i have to take the intake off too..wait a pain in the ***

Ethanol mixed gasoline should not be stored long term. Ethanol’s storage shelf life is only up to 100 days. In 100 days or less, even under ideal conditions (low humidity, sealed fuel system), the alcohol part of the gasoline mixture will absorb enough water from atmospheric humidity and condensation to cause contamination. Phase separation becomes a concern after 100 days. When E10 becomes cloudy, then you know it is going bad due to water contamination.

ethanol should be nowhere near old Japanese vehicles, eats the injector O-rings and other seals. all of my stuff i only run Esso 91, no ethanol in it
