Need help..speedometer does't work...

My speedometer doesn't work...Could you guys tell me what the tachometer should read when it hits...
15 mph
25
40
45

Thanks.... My car's been burning a lot of gas...and I have just replaced some seals for the fuel injectors because they were leaking. Are there anything else that I'm missing that could be causing the car to burn up so much gas?

I know it's pretty old...89 but still i think it's eating up too much gas for a half hour trip. Any suggestions would help.

Check:
spark plugs
ignition timing
spark plug wires
fuel filter
air filter
throttle body
distributor cap/rotor
tire pressure

Do a SEARCH to find anything I may have forgotten... I know of a couple of threads in just the past 2 months where other people were complaining of the same thing. Hope that helps...

Definitely do a search. Mine doesn't work because of the speed sensor, which also seems to affect the odometer...

It could be the speedometer head. I had mine go out on my 90 SE - I think the part was about 100 bucks to replace. If I remember correctly, when the problem first started it was intermitent, and then one day it just quit for good.
