This was talked about a few days ago. It looks like they've taken a Radio Shack electric motor, put it in a plastic tube, and then used dryer vent hose to run it into a cover for a filter (K&N)! This may be ligit, but the cost is just way too much for a little motor to force air onto the filter. You know they make a killing off everyone they sell! I'm not saying it's not possible, but I can't see how that little motor blows air as fast as they say it does. What was it...the equivilant 90mph air at all times, even idle....? If it works this well, why not just plug it into the oem intake manifold or directly behind the filter and let it pull the air through instead of blowing it onto the filter? Kinda like a turbo. Obviosly this would restrict the air at higher speeds, kinda like a radiator fan does, or this would be where they wanted it. Can you say "Rip Off?" :bonk:

yup

I agree. A lot of import tuner companies make a killing off these useless bolt-ons. the customers should do their homework first! :)
