Hey, I found some used intrax springs, 1.75 drop, same as yours. anyways you said they were easy to install. what do i have to do to install them (just basics so i get a jist) do you have or need a camber kit? how wide are your tires? how wide would i want to go?any problems with the intrax? thanks

i'm not the guy you're lookin for but i thought i'd put my two cents in. I've heard Very bad things about intrax from many people. people at the roadcourse HATE them. They rip on em all the time and when people come in with em they laugh behind their back. I'm just saying this from a total performance point of view. Personally i'm trying to find a company that will make me a set of coilovers. What's up with Ground control, are they making em for 3rd gens yet? I'm gonna hold out for adjustable suspension. i drove the CRX for like a month lowered and man, it just really gets on your nerves being careful about bottoming out and stuff. I put 215 50 R15's on my max, they're wide and low. It dropped my car (measured from mud flaps) almost a full inch and i already bottom out on stuff and my mudflaps scrape when i pull out of my driveway over a curb. I'm not sure who makes the best springs for max's, but my guess is it's NOT intrax.

to install them you need some spring compressors and basic wrenches and maybe a friend to help. i dont have a camber kit but i do have some uneven wear on the tires, its not bad though. specialty products make a kit for $30 that i'm going to get just havent gotten around it it yet. and i have stock wheels on it and i'm running 205 65 15's on it. i dont know if you'd have to go wider or anything i didnt change my tires at all. i never bottom out or scrape unless its like a really steep incline or driveway, and it just barely scrapes the tow hooks on the front end anyway and causes no damage at all. and i dont have any problems with them and they handle good, nice and firm. i think intrax had a bad reputation, but in my opinion they are very nice. and it sure does slam it nice!

well im not chris but i can tell you what he did. he had suspension tech springs that lower it i think 1.5 and then cut those springs. i think it's lowered 4 inches now so it should look pretty tight.
