2 Maxima's: Which One :(
 

ok guys, here it goes.
this is the deal. both of my parents are supplying a car for us (my sister and I) to drive. my parents are divorced btw.
ok heres the thing. my dad has a 1990 toyota pickup that were selling. ive convienced him to get a maxima and theres a 4th gen se 5speed green that were probably going to get.
now my mom has the maxima in my sig for us.
heres where it the exceptions come in.
my mom is letting me put/keep my stereo in the max.
my dad wants it all stock.
also my mom gives me more driving freedoms and my dad doesnt.
and the last thing. i pay my mom $20 a month for gas while my dad will pay me $10 or $20 a month for gas.

so what are your thoughts on this one?
also im about $2000 shy of buying my max from my mom (its really hers but it makes it sooo much easier). once i get it, the mods will fly, it will be great.

Dude no question get the VQ 5spd. But the VE is cheaper and would be yours. VE auto < VQ 5spd.

plus you get the system with your moms car. you could always try the auto to 5 speed conversion. :rolleyes:

ve 5psd but Id trade it for a 5spd VQ anyday, stock for stock of course. I wish someone would give me a car:(

Definitely go for the VQ 5 speed.

I would go for the 3rd gen if you can pay your mom and own it... there is nothing like owning your own car. but if you can buy either then I would get the 4th gen

Let me put it this way...if I were to buy another 3rd gen, it would be a black VE. :)

3rd gens look hella better than 4th gens...keep the ve

4th gens can look pretty nice with some mods, but 3rd gen still is my favorite too.

ve are great.. i never driven a 5spd but i have an auto. but i have this urge to get a ve 5spd now if i can find one that is in good condition and cheap

4th gens can look nice wit a kit...but u cant beat the @ss of a 3rd gen...well except for a skyline
