I don't wanna sound big headed or anything, but I think I making a strong case for around 2nd or 3rd place in the 89 maximas not 3rd gen's in all(i know im far from some)...but hey I'll let you guy be the judge of that:)

browse for a week or so before you decide which spot you want, you got 3 replies and already half the cars are nicer (or more modded)then yours.

Okay maybe I am being to big headed but Iv'e seen stock maximas get like 4 stars ratings with nothing even done to the car

*Ok here comes the meanie* I think you fall back in the pack. I have seen some super nice 3rd gens, like candiman he probably comes in first. loose that trunk rack thingy, get some springs then it will look all the diff. Get a stillen kit, make it faster, and swap a VE 5 speed in it. And you are first;)

It looks alright, nice paint job. I'd loose the windshield crap though, because it just ruins the look of the car.

i'd have to agree on the color thing though, that is a nice color. any interior shots? can't have a nice car without a nice interior. speaking of, my brother might be coming home and he might bring ahis digi, so maybe i can finally get some pics up of my max. until then...

I hope no offense was taken, I was just giving you some advice, on what I think is hot. But the luggage rack definately must go...unless you use it?

also anyone have a VE strut bar they will trade for a VG?
not too bad, but generally, dont rank your own car, let others rank it for you.
dont take these posts as flames as much as pointers and remember everyone has theyre own opinion. i thought it was kinda cool how you made your banner, your car has to be you, or in my case, on the way to being me ;)
im sure im not the only one on here that has a whole list of todos but just cant... yet.

I've had my Maxima a whole week. Never really gave them much of a look until the last month. I had a race prepped VW Scirocco a couple fo year ago. I am just going to repeat what everyone else has said, just in case it hasn't sunk in yet.



LOSE THE LUGGAGE RACK, even if you do use it!

but hey, I hook up my car for me not what Maxima.org thinks, so if you dont like it thats fine with me. and anyway half the time Im only joking, I know my car isnt the nicest .....yet.

#1 - smoothmax's car: ok it looks nice but its not the greatest, but for an 89 it looks in good condition i must say

#2 - N34JZ's car: yes i think its definitely up in the higher end of the 3rd gens, i like everything on it except the wing, but i dont expect him to run out and take it off now

#3 - White93SEs comments: tone it down a bit we can only voice opinions here were not here to tell each other what and what they should not do to their cars...and about N34JZ advertising XRRCD, if i had my own company id want to advertise it too

#1: his car has potential, I agree
#2: I'm voicing my opinions
#3: If I had my own company, I'd advertise the proper way: by paying like WSP, Cattman, CustomMaxima, etc.

...Just stop it already. We're all Maxima family, and White93SE don't make fun of peoples grammar, or what they use. People use slang and talk different cause of where they come from n stuff like that. Others are too lazy to type out whole words n crap, such as myself :D. I type all day long at school and then after school doing websites so forgive me if I mistype and shorten a few words, while defending myself and my actions to people on maxima.org, as for my car, I know its not the nicest car and like I said most of the time Im only kidding when I act cocky. as for advertising, I dont whore up every thread like you suggest, If someone needs something that I have, then yes I let them know, truth be told I dont have as much money as cattman or the other companies you listed, and I make like 0$ on stuff I sell to maxima.org people, thats why I let them know because most of the time I can get it cheaper, so I do and add only what it costs me.

and I really dont care if you dont like my wing, when I bought it did I think "hmm will White93SE aprove of it?" let me tell you something, everytime I post it seems like you have some problem with me. So before you start to flame me why dont you chill out and relax, If I bother you that much, and you cant stand me for one reason or another, put me on your ignore list. If not deal with it I was here before you and Ill probably be here after you leave (like most new members that start off like you)

Not to sound negative but just because you put clears and rims on doesnt make you one of the top max's....not even the 89's. the first thing people to their cars are to put clears and rims on. so you could say your now in the gang....but not better....by the way i have an 89SE and i think i could give you a run for your money in the looks department....again, not to sound highly of myself. pics will be up soon. Don't get me wrong you do have a nice car (including the rims) if youve ever seen the Racing Hart Z5000 rims they look pretty similar but only with 5 points.:D
