technically he is right...

...because the definition of a sports car states that it is a pure 2 seater. However with 190hp v6 stock on the VE with 5 speed trans the Max has a pretty good base. It can embarass some "real" sport cars quite easily. This makes much more sense to me than most of the modded imports that start off with some anaemic 4 banger.

Bottom line I was just voicing my opinion, I didn't know it was going to cause such a commotion but I consider many cars to be 2 door sports cars, as do insurance companies, 'vettes, porsches, pretty much anything with 2 doors and lots of hp.

actually, we drives sports sedans, correct? Your definition of a sports car is two doors and lots of hp. So do you include trucks? I just think that some cars dont fit into just one category.

for a sedan and for its class, yes the 3rd gens definitely have the edge in the "sports car" area; but compared to the real sports cars then its a new ball game. Stock for stock or equally modded: 3rd gen vs the likes of SS Camaros, Z06's, Buick GNXs, M3s, Z8s etc dont stand a chance

sure.. are cars aren't the fastest in the world, technically, what you do in your car makes the car what it is, is not the number of doors, seats, or HP... If you use your car for sport, then it is a sports car... if you use your car for Moving the family then it is a family car. Our cars aren't the fastest in the world.. no matter what you have something is faster, but who ONLY uses their 3rd Gen for Sport... i dont know about you guys, but I pretty much just have my 3rd Gen to be cool, see its cool to have a Sedan that goes fast too. I mean theres not really anything cool about having a car that has 2 doors, some huge engine with tons of power and some crazy aerodynamic stuff that goes fast.. I mean thats what you would expect.. theres nothing cool about that, the 3rd Gen is cool, The Stick Should Say C4DFFPMPV for "Cool 4 door fast family practical multi purpose vehicle" but I mean 4dsc just sounds better...

but hey thats just what i.... know

All i had to do was buy one to convince me. I knew that well before i stumbled upon the ORG.

A Civic, maybe a Cavalier. There's just something special about our cars. Everyone drives Hondas and Mustangs. The heart of our cars is in there with BMW's but we have reliability and value.
