FS: Original David L's clear/red 95/96

Well I did some stuff to my car and decided to part with my David L's. If you dont know what they are, they are the limited production clear/reds for early 4th gens. Aside from altezzas and the CE version you dont have much choices. I planned on keeping these and doing LED's, but I'm not really big on LED's so I decided against it.

I am asking 325 OBO, which means I am negotiable. Some of you may think this is a lot but ask around and you will see it not as crazy as you might think. A few months ago a set sold for $420 plus $60 shipping on ebay.

And I will split them up, if you buy one side for $325 I will give you the other for free. Feel free to make me offers, but please don't lowball me I have new lights and my stock ones so I'm in no rush. I have more pictures if anyone is interested. Selling as is, the way they were on my car when I last took them off. These are in good condition, no cracks, no scratches, no water, and they are painted on the inside so no fading.

i bought ce ones. but these david ls look better than most ive seen. the difference in the top white always bothered me, but your reds are amazingly similar. i guess the painted ones dont look as red. free bump

Thanks, the reds look identical imo. Most people think they came stock, but the real maxima people always flip when they realize what they are.

In all honesty, 2 people have asked me about the lights, other than these my car is 100% stock.

1. One guy offered me 350 on the spot when I was buying dinner one night, he begged me for them but I never planned on selling them so I had to say no.

2. Got a bunch of compliments/questions about them at a local meet.

I really love the lights beacuse they are so rare, but if someone else can use them instead of them sitting in my attic, its better for them.

So what is the price of these...$325? Don't you think that is a little high? Obviously u haven't gotten any offers!! Maybe a price drop is in store.....I really want these but not for $325!

I am negotiable, and I have gotten some offers but Im not in a rush to sell. I already did the 97-99 swap and these are off the car and wrapped up in my closet. If they dont sell its cool with me, when someone realizes what I am selling and knows its a fair price they'll buy them. And if you have ever seen these sell on ebay, you would know that my price is not bad at all. A few months ago a set went for 450 plus 70 shipping. IM sure you could find the ebay link if you searched here, but Im assuming the auctions down (I dont really use ebay so Im not sure how it works). so...they came on early 4th gens stock?

No, early 4th gens come with orange where the clear is on Davi L's. But with 95/96s you cant taker off the orange, thats the color of the actual plastic, unlike the 97-99s. So if you want clears on a 95/96 you can buy these, buy the Ce like version from ebay, or buy altezzas bake them, and try and make your own red/clears.

David L's are considered to be a rare mode for early 4th gens, thats why they dont go for 100 bucks...

i have a driver side "david l" its the same light, but i painted it, not david L. I cant even sell my driver side outter for 65 bucks shipped man.

I remember you posting that, not too many people only need one of these though. Either way, I dont care if I dont sell them to be honest with you. I had forgotten about them until the thread was bumped up. If I ever need some fast cash I could sell them locally, until then they'll be wrapped in my closet.

has anyone seen the all clears that david made these lights from? they are super rare.

I bought some a while back when chillin got his hands on a few. I painted them myself and put them on. I'm gonna ad a few of my pics to this thread to get these sold. No sense having some a sweet mod sitting in your closet. Someone needs these. They clean up the rear of a 95/96 so nicely.

Man I wish I had the money for these... :-(

I bought some not about 2 months ago, mint condition all clears never painted. They are nice. Im going to heat these up and paint the inside of them. Right now I have them before they are painted. I think there is a thread on here somewhere.

Cool. Theres a lot of thread on that actually, because I was considering buying the all clears when someone had a few sets. I think people were using Testers Candy Red- transparent paint. Good luck, just make sure you dont forget them in the oven lol I did that with one of my stock ones.
