SNOMAX LCA's for sale

This is the official for sale thread.

For detailed info see this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...cs-inside.html

Cliff Notes:

I am now using NEW control arms with an after market ball joint and energy suspension poly-urethane bushings installed. They are now available in Black powder coating or truck bed liner--your choice!

The castle nut and retaining pin are included. I highly recommend getting a new nut for the lateral link--this is not included and available from the dealer.

Pics fo the "gen 1" control amrs. These are the refurbs, not the new. but you get the idea:

These go for $179 each. You will need 2 if doing your whole car.

No more core charges! THis will save you cash in return shipping!

I am located in Akron, Ohio. Shipping is actual shipping cost, UPS. PM me here is best way to reach me.

SNOMAX Jul 18, 2008 03:42 PM

EDIT:

I am doing a new group deal for these. I'd like to get 5 sets.

Price is $179 per arm, but I will include free shipping and the ball-joint separator tool for you if you sign in on this group buy.

Due date is 1/23/09 for this latest round. Please have your payments in to me by then.

check ROCKART

ROCKART Jul 18, 2008 11:07 PM

****in a man this is cheaper than paying a shop to put in the ES bushings...

if these are actual OEM parts and not ebay parts, i will take a pair

it will be about 2 weeks before my paypal account gets unlocked due to a fradulent charge.

at that time i will paypal you $276 right?

then when i get my old LCAs off, i will ship them back to you and you will refund 78 dollars via paypal?

SNOMAX Jul 19, 2008 05:19 AM

Yes, they are OEM. Let me know when your paypal is all sorted out. Of course, you can pay with old skool check or money order, too.

MaxGordon7 Jul 19, 2008 05:43 AM

Snypa Jul 19, 2008 12:00 PM

SNOMAX Jul 23, 2008 07:38 PM

SNOMAX Jul 28, 2008 08:19 PM

All sets are currently accounted for. I am now waiting for a bunch of cores to some back to do another run. If you need some in the meantime, let me know--I may be able to work something out.

WOO....BUMP BUMP BUMP

Just got my set in the mail today, I paid for them two days ago! They came in a nice big box and looked very comfy (lots of computer paper balls (wooo! free paper!)). They look great and so far looks very professional. I am very pleased with it all so far.

This is a bump for a great honest seller. Now I just need to get these bad boys installed so I can send in my old ones.

4DRSpeed Aug 3, 2008 01:49 AM

In the future I'll be looking to get a set of these. Just not sure exactly when.

MOHFpro90 Aug 6, 2008 11:12 AM

Bump for a great man. I ordered mine and got them in today. They look amazing. Cant wait to install them! Thanks again man, this is the kind of stuff we need to see more of in the max community.

Just as a side note, I think USPS tracking is totally unnecessary. Its absolutely pointless. I checked it last night and it didnt even say that the box had been shipped yet! Haha. Although its a 'comfort' factor, still its almost pointless and costs you/the buyer more. But keep up the good work man!

arrocha87 Aug 10, 2008 12:16 AM

if my plans are right id be ready to order on Sept 5th. think theyll be ready by then?

SNOMAX Aug 10, 2008 07:56 AM

I can turn around a set of LCA's in about a day. I am waiting for those that bought them from me to return their old parts so I can do another batch.

On monday (tomorrow) I will start contacting some local yards to get some more LCA cores. That seems to be the bottleneck right now, or I could have done about 5 more cars in the last week.

So, by Sept 5th I will probably have some ready to go.

MOHFpro90 Aug 10, 2008 11:32 AM

I will have my cores shipped out to you by the 20th so you can turn mine around!

Thanks again man

SNOMAX Aug 11, 2008 03:30 PM

I just purchased new cores from a yard. I should have them ready to ship by next monday. PM me if you need a set.

SNOMAX Aug 19, 2008 07:38 PM

I have 3 Full sets and a drivers side left from this last round. PM if you need some.

SNOMAX Aug 24, 2008 07:41 PM

For those that posted, yes I have a few sets. I am looking to get 5 people signed up for a group buy. Post here if you are up for it. I will add you to the list.

SpeedCrazie Oct 23, 2008 03:31 PM

If so, I'm gonna consider it. I think mine need replacing soon.

SNOMAX Oct 23, 2008 05:48 PM

Posts #1 and #2 both state the cost at $129 ea.

aussie983 Oct 23, 2008 09:18 PM

Still interested. For those that have done this, how difficult is it to do for someone who is pretty mechanically inclined, but has never done this before? Any other special tools required? How long would it take?

SNOMAX Oct 26, 2008 09:00 AM

If you have a jack, jack stands (safety first!) and a breaker bar, I think you can swing it. The ball joint separator will help save your sanity too.

powahungree98 Oct 26, 2008 08:05 PM

I'm down for a set, you can add me too the list also.

Kevin

aussie983 Oct 27, 2008 04:04 PM

I'm down too. Sounds doable. I figured getting the axle nut off would be the biggest challenge, given that I don't have air tools. I'll just hope the breaker bar will get it loose.

SNOMAX Oct 27, 2008 05:51 PM

Ok, I added those that committed.

i would like to wrap this up by this weekend. i will make the dead-line to get in on the group deal this Sunday (11/2/08).

So, if you are thinking about this, now is the time.

QNO_A32 Oct 27, 2008 06:14 PM

Im down. PM sent.

tzilla2 Oct 28, 2008 10:58 AM
