A'pexi World Sport muffer diameter, anyone know?
 
Please advise, this info would be helpful in doing a Ionic rear bumper w/ exhaust cutout.

I think that it is 2 1/4" through, and 3" at the tip. Correct me if im wrong.

I apologize for not doing this, but I got 4" at the tip with my ruler.

are there any modifications that need to be done to install the apexi ws....or is it just a straight bolt on...for 97 max...i heard that it was a little short on piping and extra is needed to add on or weld on or somehting..can someone give me feed back...was thinking about getting this or the greddy sp...thanks

It will bolt onto a 97+ fine, but it wont stick out past the back bumper. It sits under a lil bit. Otherwise it fits fine.

I'd go with the Greddy SP. It's well built but louder. With the A'pexi on my '95, I've experienced from the b-pipe, rattling against an exhaust hanger and I think you will need to make an weld for a 02 sensor, not positive on that one though.
