hmmmm ....?

I was just looking around on this site and saw this Philips HID kit...it looks pretty legit. I don't think I'd ever get it currently but perhaps this would work well in the upcoming projector headlites from custommaxima.com? So has anyone bought this particular kit?

$695!!! Ok, you give me $650 I will get you a 100% philips kit and I will have enough left over for a ypipe, intake and a tank of 91 gas for myself!!!:D Look around more, there are kits way cheaper than that. Just make sure your ballast and bulb is either OSRAM or Philips. I've seen kits on ebay with korean bulbs with an OSRAM ballast and those are super blue or purple. Real philips bulbs are pure white. Two of my friends have the Philips Ultinon kit and IMO, it is 99.5% white and .5% purple...its super nice.

OK so I guess they're a little expensive (?) but are they good quality? Where can you get this kit cheaper?

yeah i have the phillips hid kit. i might have the olders ones but yes the light patteren is white. i am very happy with my kit. i've had it for 2.5 years now and its still working great.

i paid like 500 for them. but that was 2.5 yrs ago when hid kits first started coming out. and the few people i had asked about how much they paid was over a grand. they sould be a little cheaper now.

www.autolamps-online.com does not make a 9004 kit. I think they make the best kits for the best price. They say they use CAD to make the light shield, which is very important in keeping your beam pattern. The Hanabi is 395 shipped, I cannot complain about that. That is a good deal. The Hanabi will be more green or blue or purple, than pure white.

You can get the same Philips HID kit for $400. I got the kit with 9006 for $400 over a year ago.

Yeah I just checked out autolamps-online.com and their kits look pretty impressive. I definetly won't get a HID kit until custommaxima.com comes out with the projector beam headlights (hopefully soon!!). Not sure what bulbs they'll use but I hope H7 or another size that autolamps-online.com does make a kit for. Their H7 kit is $499 and their 6000K H7 kit is $579...shipping and handling is free!
