ANY SUGGESTIONS???!!

Just remove the center console and pop them out from the inside. IIRC they can just pop out from the front if you pry them with a flat-head, but if you want to be very particular and careful (like I am :D), do the first.

I have a 98 Maxima and bought heated seats but have not installed the switches yet. I don't see any place where holes could be 'punched out'. Is this only in the 95-96 models? I was just going to cut the holes with a dremel.

They go in place of 2 of the 3 change holders on the center console. Right behind the cup holders.

u guys must not be understanding me, I know how to pop out the seat heaters from my 95 console, i want to make holes on 97 console, if u look under every console, they have the lining for the seat heaters. I want to cut those holes without making it look nasty. What do you guys recommend for doing this?

I was wondering why you were saying you had a 97GXE when it says 95GLE in your sig! If your cutting I'd use a dremel tool and cut it about 1/4" to 1/2" too small. Then start filing away till the heated seat switch just fits.

a dremel tool is a handheld, motorized tool that has various attachments for cutting, sanding, filing and other things of that nature. that should be your tool of choice for this job. you can find them at any store that sells tools. (i.e. Sears, Home Depot, Lowes...) this is a great tool to have around your house if you dont have one. like JR says cut a hole that is slightly too small and file the rest for a smooth finish to your slots.
