Changed coolant, increased mpg??

I recently did a coolant flush and noticed that my mileage has gotten alot better. No actual numbers yet, but it just seems better, and my car warms up alot quicker. Is this supposed to happen, or is it just in my head?

It's all in your head. Unless of course you measured your mpg before and after the flush and it did in fact change.....?

yeah, what he said. have you gone through a few tanks already or are you just measuring by the gauge?

A couple thoughts....
your driving habits changed? Your gas mix/additives change?
maybe your engine is running a little cooler and more efficient? :gotme:

Well, half a tank usually lasts me 2 days, and I fill up when my fuel light comes on. Since the flush, its been 3 days and Im still a tad below 1/4 tank. Oh well, if its in my head, no biggie, It just makes me feel like Im saving money :D
