what's the different between 95-99 and 2k-2k1
 

did anyone know what's hp at wheel for the 2k-2k1 maxima,what the different between the 95-99 and 2k-2k1,where's the 35 ponies came from,can we swap the part,had anyone done it,cause the 2k-2k1 is much heavier than the 95-99,:cool:

Search for the middle east variable intake. That gives us most of the power of the 5th gen.

the 2k and 2k1 have like 215 to 225 hp...definitely can't beat stock for stock even though they are heavier...but they are only like 100 pounds heavier max if i'm not mistaken...

and i just thought of something, oh my god, i look at 5th gen engines ever so often and i see this big *** shield on top of them and i say to myself, dam, what's the secret in that thing and then when i see pics of the variable intake it looks VERY SIMILAR...never put two and two together....so that's why 5th gen is stronger ehh...:goofy:

i am not talking about the 2k2 vq35,i am talking about the 2k-2k1,it's diferent,one got 3.5L 255 hp and the other has 3.0L and 225 hp,:(

WHAT? ok 2k-2k1 222hp, 95-96 190hp. The changes between these years are very minimal. 96 I think has different emissons then 95 and the optional power passenger seat. As for 2k-2k1? The 20th AE was offered in 2k1 and that acually had 227hp. As far as speed goes auto for auto and stick for stick, 4th and 5th Gens ( not counting the 2k2) are about equal in speed
