Guys I am sorry but went outside my house today and my diamond cut clear corner lights were ripped off my car while it was in my drive way. I live in Matawan N.J. Monmouth County... Its a nice friggin place and I woke up to this... It blows... I sold my orange ones so I cant even put them back on. I need to go and re-order them ASAP...

damn! I would be ****ed. well maybe you can claim vandalism on your insurance, if they were expensive. or maybe for you just buying them is better. but in any case that blows man. I would feel violated worse than oprah talking about my past, ya know its just messed up!

Jeremy, I'm sorry about your corner lights. Did they leave the bulbs and harnesses? Most of the time they don't.

THE SAME [POOP] HAPPENED TO ME , I WAS PARKED TWO BLOCKS AWAY FROM MY SCHOOL AND WHEN I CAME BACK , AT 1230PM TO TAKE ME AND MY CAR HOME , I SEEN THE DAMN CLEAR CORNERS MISSING, THOSE BASTARDS EVEN CUT MY WIRES JUST NOT TO WASTE TIME TO GET THEM OFF, I LIVE IN NY AND EVEN THOUGH ITS A COMMON THING TO GET THEM STOLEN , I WAS SO MAD , THEN I HAD TO STICK BACK ON MY UGLY STOCK AMBERS FOR 2 WEEKS BACK ON MY CAR TILL I GOT NEW ONES,THOSE AMBERS ARE SO DISGUSTING AND I COULDNT WAIT TO GET CLEARS BACK,, SO I FEEL FOR YOU BROTHER:bawling:

I know the feeling. I walked away from my car for 5 min and came back to hanging bulbs. Luckily, I still had my ambers.

im lucky to have my clear corners stay not stolen for so long....ive had em for over a year and a half, and still there.....granted when i get outta work today, im sure theyll be gone :rolleyes:

Protect You Investment
 

Use some sort of cement glue or epoxy (sp?) where the two pieces of your diamond cuts meet and put them on. If a bulb goes out, your going to have to change it by going under the car...but you'll still have diamond cuts.

i got mine screwed on from the back.. mine were stolen in my college in staten island.. dam cheap bastards...

Man, and I live in a bad ghetto...I should just get a heavy duty car cover, and then chains with padlocks to wrap the car around with...friggin crackhead THIEVES i swear, my friend's STOCK rim was stolen. Just one rim w/ no hub and it was one those blackish oogly ones.

Whats the point, seriously, drop 40bucks and buy yourself a set....

Hope i can stay as lucky as i've been 2 years, knock on wood..

SOrry guys I was in D.C. this weekend but I apprecaite everyones feedback on my venting post.... I guess in the grand scheme of things it not tooo bad. I found a shop in MAryland that had them for 109.99 :eek: and I had to buy them (NEEDED THEM ASAP I SOLD THE AMBERS) so I guess it not too bad.... LATER

thats f'in ridiculous, i'd rather be pulled over by a cop and have gotten a ticket for no front turn signals then to pay that price, damn.. i paid like 26$ brand new for my DC clears, you shoulda bought them and then paid for overnight shipping, your price would have at least been cut in half.

They ripped of my spoiler last year...that sh## was so funny I took a double take...I even looked down the da#m block to make sure that I was'nt sanding looking at the wrong MAX...no not my car they just robbed like that sh##:eek: :mad: :bawling: But I've got my little friend under the seat for the next time ok!

Under the seat? :rolleyes: that's a no-no. If you have a 4th gen, next to your left foot in the drivers seat you'll see a plastic piece that comes up from the floor and wraps around the side a bit.. Well this has to be my favorite mod, I loosened a couple little push/pull screws and now I have my little coke spot.. lol, no i don't do coke, but it's my most useful mod and I use for my little friend, the cops can't find, they would be too lazy to get under the dash and look around to see if any parts of my car are loose. I'll take pics sometime, but you wouldn't even know it was loose by looking at it, because it kinda pulls foward, you can stash whatever your likeing is :cool: and then wham! it snaps back into place. Ah, so cleaver.

Remember to bolt your replacement sets on from behind when you get them.

Hey I installed my clears and I saw those directions about how to bolt them in from behind but it didnt make all that much sense to me. IF anyone has bolted theirs in from the back could you please tell me how you did it?

The POS Sarona front bumper design caused my clears to fall off (ghetto) so I had to have my clears bolted on with a power drill.

i got the clears for $80 when i first got my car.. that was 3 years ago.. 109.99 is insane.. did they know u needed it right away?? might have inflated the price to take advantage of u..

:laugh: Actually a few years ago my dad got the headlamp stolen out of his LandCruiser. Ironically enough, it was the same headlamp my brother had put a AAA sticker on and he knew that. When he went to the local auto chop shop to find a replacement, he saw it. He punched that guy so hard in the face he musta been blue for a week. :D

The only sketchy thing about doing that is that some thieves will get mad at the fact that they can't get what they are trying to get, so they will brake, scratch or steal something else. Happened to my friends Max, they broke his window and coudlnt get his cd player out, so they just took the face plate to be even more annoying. So he had to get a new cd player all together.
