HKS superAFR, Apexi super AFC, are these helpfull on 98's

I was looking through the new superstreet and saw the add for the HKS super AFR, I was wondering what peoples experiences are with these types of electronics, and since there isn't a computer option for 98 Maxima's would one of these have any benifit if the car is not on nitrous or forced induction?

There was been one maxima.org that had really good gains with the Apex'i S-AFC with his NA Maxima. He is also running NOS, but he tuned the AFC without the NOS. I have spoken to quite a few tuners about the AFC and the potential gains and they all say there will be about 3-15 HP to be gained. Eric Hsu at XS Engineering says that every car needs to be specifically tuned in order to achieve the gains. Tuning will run about $200 I think. I'm planning on getting the AFC this year. I'd like to see some more people do this before I try it out, but people really don't like taking risks.

It really isn't worth it until you get some series boost/juice in your ride. The org guys successfully utilizing these A/F controllers did not get it for the increased HP, but for tuning purposes (the extra HP is a bonus).

When you've gotten to the point that you are boosted, and have upgraded you fuel system (pump and FPR), then you will see some real benefit from this type of product.

I'm looking to get one as I move my nitrous shot up to 100 this week.

I haven't seen this before...How much does something like this cost??? It sounds like it is a great product. :)
