how to TELL your TRANNY'S About To DIE??
how do you tell your transmission is going bad , when i accelerate between 1st and 2nd gear the car has a big jump to it , the other gears kick in smooth, should i be worried or is this nothing
also how often should you change your tranny fluid? someone told me that changinmg tranny fluid could ruin your transmission more b/c its not used to the new fluid and that leaving it alone is better, i dont think that sounds right, does anyone have an opinion on this |

I made a post just recently about this problem, what was suggested was a transmission fluid flush, especially when I had 65k miles on it.

the nissan dealer sells a conditioning fluid for the auto trannys that should be added around 90 miles. the conditioner helps fortify the new fluid therefore improving clutch friction and ultimately performance.
