to all the engine guru's
i replaced my injectors today and cant get my car cranked. i got to looking and i left the o-ring out that goes under the bolt that holds down the fuel rail. would this cause it not to crank? i dont want to have to pull that damn manifold off 3 times if its bad injectors.

got any ecu codes?
like sudz said does the starter crank or no, can you push start it? (primitive) |
did u check to c if any fuel is goin into the injectors?? This car that i worked on, where the fuel enters the fuel rail had a hole inside the screw to let fuel from the fuel line to get into the injector rails. U need to make sure that the hole inside the bolt is aligned with the fuel hose goin into the rail. Also check your spark plugs to see if it sparks or is it wet.

Originally posted by njmaxseltd If your starter is "turning" and engauging the fly wheel, your engine is "cranking" over but not starting. Please clearify this for us. You have a crank, but no start condition? |
