6000K HID's

Hey has anyone ever had a problem with the police with aftermarket HID systems? Technically they are not street legal, but I wanted to know if cops actually notice. I am looking to buy a 6000K. What color temp comes on BMW, Mercedes, etc.... I want to match that color. Please let me know.

Factory installed HID systems are usually around 4250 - 4800K. Thats daylight white.

All I know is that I got a friend at work who has a 2003 SE with the HID kit and it looks real blue, and yes it is factory. Of course he doesnt' get bugged by the cops here in Miami, I dunno its just my input.

I bought the McCulluch HIDs (6000k) so lets see what happens to me. :p

So nobody has really been bugged by the cops for 6000K HIDs? What about all the peeple that bought the Hanabi's?
