dyno tune it and you might get results

I dont know though, I've heard the stock ECU is able to override the S-AFC.... thus making the benefits nil :gotme:

anybody got a better dyno result after S-AFC installed?

The S-AFC only really benifits cars boosted or running nitrous by messing with fuel stuff...a N/A maxima will show little to no gains you can read up a little more on it by using the search function...i would go with other mods first before picking this unit up like y pipe etc get those bare essentials out of the way...if you just want the "look" you can always get an apexi rsm those are fun little toys to play around with..

hope this helps

Well one Maxima owner dyno tuned and claimed to have taken off .7 secs off his 0-60. He's the only one to rave about gains, but then no one else I know of has dyno tuned it (no dyno tune = bad idea). This is definitely a mod that you'd want to do last, since every other mod would affect the variables of the air/fuel mixture. Get yourself an intake, Y-pipe, cat, B-pipe, and muffler first. Then decide if you're happy with the intake (their are many to choose from) and then decide if the MEVI manifold is something that you'd like to had. Get your car tuned up (changed spark plugs, PCV, clean the throttle body, and fuel filter). Then get the S-AFC and then dyno tune.

I'm thinking about doing the same, once I'm done with everything else. I have a bunch of mods that just waiting to go on. I'm not sure if I'm going to go with the MEVI, but everything is for keeps. I'll keep you posted if or when I get the controller.
