215/60's  its doable.. but thats huge.

IM running 225/60 and it looks like a big bubble around the rims

Do it and...

1. www.4x4.org. will have a new member.

2. you will be slower...higher diameter means revs per mile decreases.

3. your rims will look even smaller.

4. you will probably get a good price/deal on that size.

5. in 2 months you will be sad.

For probably 65 bucks more you could get 225/50 16s. and that is the size to get if you want to stay in the 16zone.

Must agree w/ that list there... specially the two month thing ;)

I love my 215/45/17's :)

krbga is 100% correct

i had that size on those rims once, it looked really silly..

going UP in profile will always look funny..

if you want beefier tires, you can go wider.. meaning from 215 to 225.. but 60 would make the tire sidewall higher and make the turning diameter bigger etc... stick to 55s or even 50.. which are a lower profile, better for aggressive driving but probably will be louder and ride more harsh..

I have been thinking about getting the SE 17 inch wheels from the 5th gen maxima for my car and I was trying to figure what I could do with the 16's. One has some curb scratch on it from the previous owner or somebody other than me. It was before I got it. I don't realistically think I could get much for them. I was wondering if I could put them on a 92 Buick LeSabre. I don't know if the bolt pattern even matches, though. Now that I think about it, I would assume a domestic and a foreign car would not even be nearly compatible. But anywho, I was needed to know if the 215/60's would get on the star SE wheel cause that overall diameter is nearly equal to the overall diameter on the LeSabre.

That's the size my max's wheels had on them when I got the car.....retarded orginal owner was trying to save $$$$

The height of the tire wouldn't be the problem. If anything, it would be the width. But in this case, 215 on a 6.5" wheel isn't a problem at all. In fact, I thought it was the stock width.
