The point? To show some different looking Max's, and this is just plain ugly.

Get the point?

THe only Maxima that was available in Japan was 3rd Gen Maxima's
4th Gen and 5th Gen US Maxima is NOT available in JAPAN.... so there is NO JDM Maxima.. rather it's got a twin brother... CEFIRO

;)

iansw Oct 18, 2002 12:05 AM

I've seen that top pic before (the maroon one).

It's a Middle Eastern Maxima.

I should know, I've done a buttload of research on them.

Everytime I see an I30 I always stop to admire it. It holds more of the 3rd gen style, very refined looking.

we all know that cefiros are bad a$$:D

Brendan Oct 18, 2002 08:46 AM

looks like a freakin volvo

dwapenyi Oct 18, 2002 12:55 PM

I've never seen an I30 look so good. Those things are GEE-ORGEOUS. The bigger bumpers and side skirts really make the look, plus the giant rims. The trunk lid should say I30-badass:D

Is it possible to get ahold of those Signature body kits? I doubt it since I have never seen one before. Or they are just ungodly expensive.
The front and rear look stock? I am I wrong?

nismo2020 Oct 18, 2002 04:22 PM

those are hot!

iansw Oct 18, 2002 04:32 PM

The A33 kit only costs $1125.00 US.

Wow, are those aussie maxes? They look super!

RodolfoGraziani Oct 22, 2002 08:43 AM

Why can't I have driver's seat on the right side?? It looks much cooler and sexy!:D

Really, the cefiro looks more sedannish.:goofy: And sorry to disappoint Infiniti owners...your @ss lights look like sh!et. Even worse than maxima ones...no offence.

I like the healthy, younger look of max than, say, old look on I30s.

Nice, never seen pics of that actual car before but basically thats a '95/'96 Maxima in Aust/NZ. I'm pretty sure the plates on that one show its NZ registered. They use that inflated, strange looking '6'. :)

The JDM Cefiro had a variable intake. The VQ motors in JDM cars were actually a release of the VQxxDE-K engines.
Combining the Variable intake, the more advavced engine build and associated changes in engine managment, the JDM VQ were quite potent compared to the US, Australian and NZ VQ engines.

VQ25DE was 140kw or 190hp
VQ30DE was 162kw or 220hp

There was also a VQ20DE that the Cefiro used which was roughly 120kw

I have driven both a NZ Maxima and JDM Cefiro and here is a huge amount of difference. Power is better, and also power is held til the redline which some members here have reported after installing just the VI Intake Manifold.

carnal_c30 Oct 28, 2002 08:39 PM

2002 Cefiros in Taiwan have a choice of the VQ20DE VQ30DE and a VQ35DE rated at 258hp

they also coe with heated and cooled seats, 2 LCD monitors Heads up display, power everything... AC and stereo controls in the back... everything :D very sweet
