got into a wreck today!!!! don't know how bad it is
 

it all started when i was on my way home from my friends house and i was on this four lane road (two lanes going north and two going south) well i was goning south so i was going about 35 mph which is the speed limit, then theres a point where the road has a sight ( and i mean slight ) bend in it, but i'm goingthinkin everthing is cool and then all of a sudden, out of NOWHERE!, here comes a for explorer, the older models....she was going north on the same road but wanted to make a left turn into a apt. complex that was on my right, so i guess she thought she'd be able to make the turn safely or suthim (whutever she was thinkin, it messes up my car) i saw her at the last minute, honke my horn and slammed the brakes at the same time but it was too late, i hit her in a kind of like a offset "T", my right front of my car hit the back corner of her car, my car hit, both airbags deployed, my car did almost a full 180, and i just stopped, i looked at my self and was like "hey, i'm alright, maybe it wasn't that bad" i got out, i say the lady who was drving the other car and she was like cryin and sayin "are ya alright" i was like yea, i'm ok, and then i looked at my car and was speechless.....my bumper was off on the street, i had no clue where my clea bumber corners went, i think one shattered to pieces and the other jus cracked and fell off, my right headlight...well....was all over the street in pieces, litle pieces.....my hood was just torn like it was paper, it was arched up and had a hole where her(the lady that hit me) wheel well contacted...my friend and i peeped under the hood to see if the engine was damaged, i don't know for sure, but the lil gray sheilding thats direcetly under the "nissan 3000" logo looks to be cracked, not sure,but i do know my raditor and them some are gone..the car is sittin at a collsion shop, the lady got ticketed for the left turn and from whut i heard from sum1, not having insurance...isn't that wack that i try to drive as safe as possible and some lady comes and hits me

I hate these drivers. I JUST HATE THEM!!!! I've recently started driving very cautious when going around people etc... I can't trust anyone I just can't! One second I'm driving behind some moron then the next he hits the breaks to take a 30 mph right turn without signaling. I HATE all DRIVERS!!! They need to make the road tests harder I don't know!

No insurance? are you going to get money to fix the max or get a new one?:confused:

i aint quite sure what do to, this is my first accident, i got full coverage on the car and i'm only insured for uninsured motoysts" so i dunno, my friend and my dad said that the insurance should pay for it because i wasn't the one at fault, i had the right of way and i was going the speed limit, she should have waitied until i pasted her to make the turn, tommorow the collision repair shop is gonna estimate the damages for the insurence company, hopefull its not a total lose because 1) i liked the car and 2) it takes soo long to actually find another good car

that sucks, i just bought a car from insurance money cause of some crazy hooker that made a left turn on some street just like your accident. Glad u ok but i know u want another car asap.

i don't know how things work if she doesn't have insurance but i recommend asking a lot of questions on here. That's what i did and came out bigger than i expected.

so far i called the insurance company and they ased me a bunch of questions, so far their waiting on the police report to come in, the body shop the car is at said it's estimated to m $6500:eek: , if i want for it to be totaled, the car is worth 10,000....i want my car back, i'm stuck drving around my moms jeep cheerokee until further notice

If you are not at fault, then what will most likely happen is that your insurance will pay for it, and then they will take legal action against the woman (if she is uninsured), or bill her insurance company if she is. If the damage isn't too bad, they might just suck it up and pay because the sad state of the world has made litigation more expensive than just paying for the damage.

Holy crap dude, That car was pretty cool. Good thing no one was hurt in the accident, seeing as you did a 180, it could have been worse. Well, if its a complete lose, you should get the money and get another 4th gen but 5spd!:eek: Just swap out the clear/reds and stuff and it will be all good and gravy. Good luck on that, hope to see your max or another 5spd:naughty: max at the next meet.

Dude, sorry to hear about your car... that sucks. Another thing that sucks is your grammer. You are no longer in JR high. It took me a good five minutes to comprehend what you were trying to say. I understand you may be typing fast but that is no excuse for typing "motoyst" (it's MOTORIST)or other words completely incorrect. Just giving you my two cents....I had to vent!

if your car is worth 10000 and the body shop estimated 6500, you *might* be able to repair the car. i think the insurance company declares it totalled if 70% of the car's worth is needed to repair it. airbags are a ***** to replace money-wise.

Wow! I didn't know that insurence... most people would say insurance... but I could be wrong. Why are you talking about pasties? Was the lady in the SUV a stripper?

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. NO! That SUX so much. THis happens to me everyday, especially when im in ghondi town. People alwyas try to do stupid SHIIIIT. Like turn into you lane. WTF is that. I mean, they got mirrors, those motha fucas should look.

I was at a stop sign once. And i stopped. And waited fo my turn then went. THen all of a sudden this lady in a bmw suv doesnt even stop and then honks at me, then i honk back, then i flip her off, then she runs. Them i chase her and flip her off firsthand through my window, then my sunroof, and she doesnt look at me like she knows shes stupid. Especially after honking at me and shiet.

Also, this crazy old lady camry (well, actually a young asian lady)cut me off and i kinda bumped her. Nothing happened except a scratch on her car. She tried to claim insurance money($2000)and injury, but i just got in the mail that the she couldnt get the money because of lack of eveidence. No damage on my car and a small scractch on her car that you could remove with rubbing compound. I was so damn happy. My insurance didnt go up and she didnt get nothing from insurance because nothing happened to her car.

Man, i drive sloww now and on the freeway i keep a 10 car distnace at all times. Even at 5mph. Except when trucks are comin. Driving is dangerous.

lol, your are not trying to sell me a car at a time like this, thats just bad taste man.....and my car stock was faster than your car...about the guy who said about my grammer, it's not me, its my computer while i was typing fast, this thing goes slow so sometimes some of the letters won't come up when i type, or mayb its my keyboard, anyways, i still awaiting estimates on the car from the insurance, if i do get another car, i'd want it to be a 4th gen but a 5speed or a nissan 240sx and i might put a silvia engine in it
