Where's my pcv valve/anybody have this picture which is a dead link? 60k_service.html
Hi,
I have a 98 GLE and I can't find the PCV valve, searching these forums, this seems to be not that uncommon. I found serveral references to this webpage that would solve all my problems, http://integra.vtec.net/geeser/megamax/60k_service.html , except that's a dead URL. Anyway can you tell me where it is? OK I might as well come clean here if I want to find the thing, the truth is, unlike a lot of you, the thing I love most about my Maxima is that I don't have to know where stuff under the hood is. Though its cool that you're into your cars and all that. I love mine, wtf if I wasn't so busy I could see wanting to make it faster. Then again I've owned so many POS cars that I HAD to work on regardless of the weather, time of day, or the fact that I lived in an apartment, I really don't know if I could be into working on any car, much less one that worked as well as mine. So uh, I really need a picture or explicit directions. Yeah ok I'm ignorant, and as soon as its paid off next year I'm getting me a 5th gen on which I won't have to know where stuff under the hood is either. Seriously, if you have a picture, diagram, or can spell it out like you're talking to your great aunt I would really appreciate it. I have some idea about things from my automotively underprivileged past, but I don't know where the MAF or MAP seonsor is and this kind of thing. I want to do this tomorrow while the weather's doable, lol. I'm thinking next weekend I'll get ambitious and do the fuel filter, I have ABS though which apparently makes it a lot harder. Thanks doh why is the subject of this post pc valve and not pcv valve? |
