I have the I.C's in the fogs. They are great, but they make my OEM headlamps and marker lights look like crraaaaaaap. (That is to say, they're NOT SCOTTISH!)

One of these days, I'll upgrade both. Just try the PIAA's & see what you think. I'm not familiar w/ the Sylvania's, so can't comment on compatibility.

I've gotten great comments about my $19.99 Eclipse Xtreme XT853 driving lights. They're 35w but super bright. They are pencil beam so they won't blind other drivers...but they're very very good for lighting up stuff ahead (i have them pointed straight ahead, maybe 1deg down).

Yes, they overpower my 80/100 mtec headlights...but soon, they'll match the dual hi/lo HID kit I'm getting from Big Sun in Taiwan for under $400 shipped.

Is this "Eclipse Xtreme XT853" an H3 bulb, or a driving light with housing? Where did you get them? I couldn't find anything on these. . .

i always thought piaas in general were nicer than sylvania

unfortunately, they're only H3 35watts...i wanted at least 55watts (preferably 100watts). They're in a driving light housing so they're pencil beams. They're aimed 1-2deg downward, but I haven't had anybody high beam me yet.
I bought them for $19.99 at Kragen...they're normally 29.99. My lights are round...the rectangular ones are the same price, pencil beam, slightly smaller, 35watts. I put those on my mom's van and she loves them (they overpower her headlights).
I'm thinking about selling my driving lights and getting Sylvania's auxilary HID driving lights...they're under $400. Or I will get an H3 HID conversion kit for under $300.
