the max won't start!! HELP

My lord I love this car but it's giving me the creeps. The things got 60000 miles and wont start. about 2000 miles ago I noticed a slight hesitation when starting but didnt pay it much attention because after a second or two it would be running like a champ. Yesterday i went out, turned the key and it hesitated big time. It cranked slightly but then wouldnt crank at all. When I try to turn it over, all the lights, stereo, etc go off and nothing happens, return it to acc and the elecrticity returns. I'm thinking its an electrical problem and not the starter but, having never had this problem before, I can't be sure. Any help you all can offer me would make my day. Thanks.

Sounds like my problem, when my MAF sensor went bad, yours may be too, you might need to replace it, whatever you do try to avoid nissan dealerships, they anally raped me.

Your starter bit the dust. It's a common problem especially in the earlier years.

If everthing "goes out" check your connections at the battery first. Also check the rate of charge the battery has then go from there

Yeah, a true mechanic (as in licenced and practicing) friend of mine said that its the starter. I found one for a decent price so i'm gunna slap it on and see what happens. Thanks for the help guys.
