Hey, you know that little noise that some people hear like metal grinding when they cut their car on? my car had the same little problem and lately, it's been getting harder for the car to cut on, and last night, it wouldn't cut on! a friend of mine had to tap on the starter to get the car to turn on. i bought a remanufactured starter from autozone ($140) and got it installed but the car still makes the little grinding noise when i turn it on although it does turn on easier. they guy at the shop said that since it was remanufactured, it would make that noise for a little while until it "broke in". and he said that if it didnt stop making the noise or if the starter failed, the starter had a lifetime warranty so i could get a new one. do you guys think that the little noise will go away? please help! has anyone else gone through this??? sorry for the long post
