Custom Maxima's projector headlight housing?

Whatever happened with that project? I did a search and found that they were gauging interest on this forum as to who was interested and there was a huge positive response. Whatever happened to that project from them? That was back in February! I don't see projector headlight housings on their website for the gen 4. It is not on their current project list either.

Can anyone please update the status on this?

noone definitively knows, but from what I read it is still in production. I have been waiting to get HIDS with these together, can't wait

P.S. let's hope the wait won't be as long as it has been

The sad thing about that is some peolpe are buying hids now for the 9004 bulbs, and will probably not shell out the money for the projector since they have better lighting. Fortunately for me I have a friend with a 9004 bulb application that is waiting to buy it off me once Custommaxima projectors are out.

Heard a (rumor?) that the lights are actually built, but are still overseas while final price/shipping negotiations are taking place.

(I could be wrong - it's happened b4), -but if I remember correctly, Greg/custommaxima.com was the source of this info a while back. . .

ne1 know if this is definitely true or not?

yeah, he made that post on another forum. i can't remember what post it was, but he said there were like 500+ sets setting over in japan or somewhere just waiting to be shipped over. i think he stated a january-february arrival. but, we all know how deadlines go... oh well, i'll still be anxiously awaiting them.

Greg did tell me those exact words when I called him a few weeks ago.

They must be collecting dust by now.

if he actually had them made, why would he not say anything about them, i.e. how they look type of bulb

all i can say is that i have been waiting since june to get these(this was what greg told me then, that they would be released). I would like to keep hope and say that they'll come out in january, but somethings gotta be really up to cause this much of a hold up. And if i remember correctly greg has alot of money invested in this project. We prolly have a better chance at getting some other company to produce projectors than waiting for the CustomMaxima ones to come out...
