fuel and air filters
transmission flush
and some other stuff but i don't know, try a search and don't spend money for labor, you can do all this yourself, its pretty simple, just buy the parts and do it yourself

can of throttle body cleaner
miscellaneous sockets
a rag or two
toothbrush and a little bit of time
Many people act like this is the miracle cure. It is not. I have not seen any proof that cleaning your throttle body improves gas mileage significantly.
If you are getting really poor gas mileage I would be inclined to pull your engine codes and/or test your O2 sensor and knock sensor to determine if they are working right.
There are several threads on throttle body cleaning. By doing a search, you will find some useful info on how to perform this simple maintenance.
Good Luck!

i found an article on a 3rd gen, but was looking for one on a 4th gen maxima. I'm on a very slow dialup now and it takes me forever to load up a page. Anybody have a quick link for me? Preferably like to have something with pics that I can follow to find stuff since I'm not very automatively inclinded.

Check the How To sections on these sites:
1. www.motorvate.ca
2. www.maximadriver.com
3. www.vqpower.com
My homepage on page 2 has some pics of the sparkplug cylinders, location of the PCV valve, and fuel filter.
Just do your research and give it a go. It's a great learning experience.
Good luck.
