I've built another mesh grill for the bumper

Last night I built another mesh grill piece for the bumper. Thats the one right behind the license plate holder. This time I don't want it partially hidden behind the license plate holder. At the moment it fits perfectly but I have to figure out how to fasten it onto the body as well as how to remount the license plate in front of the lower valance.
(I have to remount the license plate or else the po-po's will isssue a ticket for not having it in front. I got a ticket a while ago because of that.)
If anyone has any ideas please pass them along here!
Anyways, stay tuned for upcoming pics and instructions!

I was wondering if you would be interested in making me a mesh grill for my 96 Max? If so, let me know how much you would like for it. Thanks.;)

Sorry I'm only doing this for '98-'99's.

remounting the plate is big on the P.I.T.A. scale.
best bet --> in the "mouth" of the lowest grill -- attached to the vertical bars (it would be in the grill, but still visible)...

hope this helps,

I have seen some people just use some bolts and just put it directly on the mesh itself....ghetto but effective

If I use the car dealer's license plate holder I can wedge it between underneath the bumper and on top of the Stillen lip but that's just not secure. My beat-up license plate by itself would look ghetto.:D

You might have to just keep it the way it is.. mounted to the bumper up top

StygianMax had some concerns about air flow blockage to the radiator.
I don't think that would be a problem as only a small part of the radiator is affected. What do you guys think? Has anyone done this?

I can see that, esp. since you are boosted.

But the upper grills should suffice, not to mention the extra cooling units you have....

The B&M supercooler is mounted to the right of center so I'm ok :)
Btw did you sell your kit successfully?

I sold most of it. I still have some autometer gauges for sale.

A certain wizard would probably like to know that I will be shipping today! :woot:

D, I would just try to mount that bracket, and use some type of black tie to keep the braket to the mesh, and go from there... IMHO. :D
